Anthea Phillips

Anthea Phillips

Anthea Phillips graduated in Law from the University of Glamorgan in 1996. She then returned to Pembrokeshire and trained as a Solicitor in Haverfordwest. Anthea has been at Lewis Lewis & Company since 2000 and is now a Solicitor heading up the Residential and Commercial conveyancing team. She has considerable experience in property matters and related issues and acts for a number of well-respected local businesses and property developers. Anthea became a Director of the company in 2008.

Anthea is a keen musician. An accomplished pianist and member of choirs including Bella Voce, Scaramella & John S Davies Singers. When she’s not pursuing her passion for music, she is taking care of her 3 children, who are musically inclined themselves, and 2 dogs (sadly, not musically inclined) which keeps her rather busy with regular trips across Wales and beyond.

Catrin Richards

Catrin Richards

Catrin Richards graduated from Sheffield University in 1994 with a 2:1 BA Honours in Law. She attended Cardiff Law School before training as a Solicitor with Lewis Lewis & Company.  She was admitted as a solicitor in November 1997. Catrin is now in charge of the Family Law Department specialising in divorce, financial and children proceedings. Catrin also advises in relation to matters arising when parties separate but were not married. Catrin became a Director of the company in April 2008.

In her spare time she enjoys running and cycling with family and friends and runs around after her 3 boys supporting their pursuits in Rugby and Cricket.

Carys Howells

Carys Howells

Carys Howells graduated from Cardiff University in 2005 and completed the Legal Practice Course at Cardiff Law School in 2006. Carys joined Lewis Lewis & Company in July 2006 as a Trainee Solicitor. She qualified in August 2008 as an Assistant Solicitor in the litigation department dealing also with employment matters. Carys became a Director of the Company in 2014.

In her spare time Carys enjoys cooking, travelling and growing her own fruit and vegetables.

Janette Jenkins

Janette Jenkins

Janette Jenkins has been with the firm since 1989. Janette is the Office Manager and is responsible for the day to day running of the Practice. She is also an Associate of the Institute of Legal Finance and Management.

Janette also manages the Debt Collection Department, where we provide a debt collection service for a number of clients.

During her spare time she also enjoys looking after her grandchildren and doing a bit of running!

Ann-Marie Jenkins

Ann-Marie Jenkins

Ann-Marie joined Lewis Lewis & Co Ltd in July 1986. She specialises in residential conveyancing having developed excellent relationships with local property professionals and clients who regularly favour her with repeat instructions.

Outside of work Ann-Marie is a qualified cricket scorer and enjoys scoring and watching cricket. She also enjoys watching rugby, socialising and reading.

Gareth Phillips

Gareth Phillips

Born and educated in Pembrokeshire, Gareth Phillips graduated from the University of Leicester with a Law (LL.B) degree and after being admitted as a solicitor in 1980 worked for thirty five years with a leading firm of solicitors in Pembrokeshire. During his career, Gareth has dealt with many varied aspects of legal matters. Gareth was previously a member of the Law Society Family law panel and a past president of the West Wales Law Society. After “retiring” in 2016, Gareth re-commenced his legal career joining Lewis Lewis & Co. in 2017, where he now deals mainly with Property matters.

Sara Hedges

Sara

Sara Hedges graduated from Keele University with a BSc in psychology and criminology in 1997. She then completed an MSc in forensic psychology at Leicester University, graduating in 1999.  In 2000 she joined the firm of Alun Thomas & John in Aberystwyth as Legal Secretary and thereafter worked as a legal assistant with Sian George in her newly established firm of Moseley George in Cardigan, before qualifying as a Solicitor in July 2015. She is now an assistant Solicitor in the firm of Lewis Lewis & Co at their Cardigan office, specialising in family law, including both public and private children matters and divorce.

Sian George

Sian

Sian George has over 30 years experience as a Solicitor and has worked throughout the counties of Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire, dealing with all aspects of family law. Sian is a Welsh speaker and is able to conduct hearings in both English and Welsh. She is the Senior Family Panel Member of the Legal Aid Agency’s Peer Review Team and in that role assesses the standard of Legal Aid family practitioners. She is a member of Resolution and the Law Society Family Panel.

Sian graduated from Aberystwyth University with a Law Degree and undertook her Solicitor’s training at Chester Law College. She qualified as a Solicitor in 1992. She has worked for Lewis Lewis & Co since 2017, having previously established her own successful practice in Cardigan.

Sian is married and has two grown up children. In her spare time, Sian loves to travel.

Jonathan Webb

Jonathan Webb

Tenby native Jonathan, graduated with a BA (Hons) in Law & Marketing from De Montfort University, Leicester. Following completion of the LPC in Cardiff Law School he returned to Tenby, whereby he obtained a training contract with Jones & Jones of Tenby.

Following completion of his training, he moved to Layton & Co Haverfordwest where he ultimately became Principal. Following a successful merger with Wilson Devonald, now Devonald Griffith John of Swansea, Jonathan moved briefly to Welch & Co before moving to Lewis Lewis & Co in June 2021.

Jonathan has been involved in litigation throughout his career, be it criminal litigation or civil. He is a former Duty Solicitor and Criminal Law Accredited Specialist.

Since joining Lewis Lewis & Co he is now established in the Civil Litigation department. Regularly dealing with boundary dispute, contested Probate issues, Building and Landlord and Tenant disputes.

Away from the office, Jonathan is a keen golfer, lawn bowler and fitness enthusiast. He is a former member Chairman and President of Tenby Round Table and a founding member of Tenby Beer Festival.

Elin Phillips

Elin Phillips

Elin Phillips graduated from Reading University in 1992 and attended the College of Law at Chester in 1993. Elin trained as a solicitor in Cardiff and was admitted as a solicitor in 1997. After practising in Cardiff and Newport, Elin joined Lewis Lewis & Co Ltd in 2017.

Elin is a full member of STEP and deals with the preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts, Trust and Estate Administration work.

Telor Dyer

Telor Dyer

Telor graduated from Aberystywth University in 2012 with a LLB(Hons) Law Degree where he also completed Legal Practice Course. Telor started working in Lewis Lewis & Co Ltd in 2015 and qualified as a Solicitor in April 2018.

Telor is a solicitor within the Conveyancing department with the majority of his work dealing with residential properties and, in particular, first time buyers utilising the Help to Buy Wales scheme.

Telor is interested in all sports and plays rugby and cricket for his local teams. He is also interested in singing and has been a member of numerous choirs in the Carmarthenshire area.

Mared Thomas

Mared Thomas

Mared graduated in Law (LLB) from Bangor University in 2017 and then completed the Legal Practice Course with Masters at The University of Law, Chester in 2017-2018. Mared joined Lewis Lewis & Co as a Paralegal in November 2018 before subsequently becoming a
Trainee Solicitor within the firm in February 2019 and qualifying as a Solicitor on the 1st April 2021.

A fluent Welsh speaker, Mared is a Solicitor within the firm’s Private Client department, mainly dealing with Wills and Administration of Estate matters in addition to Lasting Powers of Attorney matters.

Mared enjoys travelling, swimming, reading and baking for her family and friends.

Hayley Knights

Hayley joined Lewis Lewis and Co Ltd in August 2021 as an Assistant Solicitor in the Property Department. Hayley completed her LLB (Hons) Degree at Wolverhampton University in 1996, followed by the Legal Practice Course at Cardiff University in 1997. After spending time working with various legal firms within the Cardiff area, Hayley qualified in 2001 as a solicitor and gained experience in several areas of private client work. Hayley then specialised in residential conveyancing and joined Gartsides Solicitors in Newport, Gwent in 2001 where she later went on to become a Partner in 2004 and was responsible for the Private Client Department. Hayley remained with the firm until 2015 when she took a new career path and successfully completed the PGCE in primary studies at Cardiff Metropolitan University and became a primary school teacher. Having taught for 6 years in various primary schools across South East and West Wales, Hayley returned to the legal world when she joined Lewis Lewis and Co Ltd.

Hayley moved to Pembrokeshire in 2019 with her family and enjoys the outdoor life.

Liana Walters

Liana Walters

Liana graduated from the University of South Wales in 2016 with a Distinction LLB (Hons) Legal Practice degree. Liana started working at Lewis Lewis & Co. Ltd. in 2019 as a paralegal and qualified as a Solicitor in October 2022. She now works as a Solicitor in the Private Client department and can be contacted in relation to Residential Property matters, Wills and Probate matters and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Chynna Jenkins

Chyna Taylor

Chynna started with the firm in June 2022 as a Trainee Solicitor in our Private Client department. Chynna completed her undergraduate degree in Law in 2018 and went on to complete her Legal Practice Course and Masters of Law in 2021. Chynna has experience in Conveyancing and Private Client work and has worked in the legal industry since 2019.

In her spare time, Chynna enjoys watching football with her husband and long walks with her dog, Dewi.

Jade Rowell

Jade Rowell

Jade graduated with a BA Jt (Hons) in Sociology and Criminology from the University of Nottingham in 2020. Jade started with Lewis Lewis in 2021 and then began her SQE training.

Jade is a trainee solicitor currently working within the litigation department.

Outside of work Jade enjoys swimming and long walks on the beach with her dog Buckley.

Jess Wainwright

Jess Wainwright

Jess graduated with a 2:1 BA (Hons) in English Language and Literature from the University of Birmingham in 2019. Jess completed her Graduate Diploma in Law in 2022 from Swansea University and is currently studying the Legal Practice and Advanced Drafting Masters in Swansea University. Jess started her training with Lewis Lewis & Co in 2021 and will begin a training contract with the firm in 2023 after completing the LLM. Jess is currently working as a legal assistant for Catrin Richards in the Family and Matrimonial Department.

Outside of work Jess enjoys spending time outdoors and socialising with friends.
